REINHARDT, Helen Martha (née Wade)
January 5, 1917 – March 13, 2018
Helen passed away peacefully at Central Haven Special Care Home at the age of 101. Helen is lovingly remembered by son, Grant (Joan) and grandchildren, Lee and Todd (Tammy); daughter-in-law, Delcy and grandchildren, Orlynn and Kris (Karen) and 4 great grandchildren; son, Ray who was her caregiver for many years; sister, Wilma Smith and children, Leila and Leighton.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Edward; son, Wade; parents, Roy and Cora Wade; and brother-in-law, John Smith.
Helen was born in the Kindersley area and moved to Asquith in 1920, going to school at Douglas Plains and then Asquith High School. Helen married Edward Reinhardt in 1934 and farmed south of Asquith for 42 years while raising three sons, then retiring to Saskatoon in 1976. Helen enjoyed her many years in Saskatoon with her library, church and neighbor friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Central Haven Special Care Home for the kind compassionate care provided to mother during her stay with them. Memorial donations may be made to Central Haven Special Care Home (1020 Avenue I North, Saskatoon, SK. S7L 2H7) or the charity of your choice.
A memorial service of remembrance will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jehovah’s Witness Assembly Hall at 415 Fairmont Drive Saskatoon, SK. S7M 5N6
