Helen F. Leger
1952-2018
It is with deep sadness we announce the
passing of Helen Frances Patterson Leger,
age 65, of River Hebert, NS. Helen passed away surrounded by
her loving family on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Cumberland Regional
Health Care Centre.
Born in Amherst, NS, she was a daughter
of the late Brenton and Freda (Burbine) Patterson.
Helen loved bingo, trekking far and wide
to enjoy a game. She looked forward to time with her family,
staying close with her daughter and many siblings. She loved
Karaoke, especially a country song.
She will be dearly missed by her
daughter Natasha Patterson, Parrsboro; grandson Slade Yorke; brothers
and sisters Barb McManaman, Amherst, NS, Wayne (Evelyn), Joggins, NS,
Linda Jorgenson, Red Deer, AB, Jim (Marlene), Red Deer, AB, Dale
(Fran), Moncton, NB, Darlene (Mike) Thibodeau, Oromocto, NB, Sherri
Kent, Moncton, NB, Terry (Kim), Joggins, NS, Larry (Chrissy), River
Hebert, NS, Tammy Patterson, River Hebert, NS, Trena Patterson,
Calgary, AB; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church
St., Amherst, NS.(902-667-8777). Visitation will take place
at the Furlong~Jones Visitation Centre in River Hebert, NS on
Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm. Her funeral
service will be held from the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, Amherst, NS
on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 2 pm, Father Craig Christenson
officiating.
Memorial contributions in Helen’s memory
may be made to the Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke, or the
charity of your choice.
