Helen Elizabeth “Gladys” Holman (Mayo)
After a courageous battle with cancer, at the London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital, Helen Elizabeth Holman “aka Gladys” passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at the age of 71 years. Loving wife and best friend for 36 years to her husband Ed. Step-mother to Jamie Holman. Awesome sister-in-law to Esther Porchak (the late Stan); Richard Holman (Pat); Murray Holman; Linda Tisdale; Rose Dopp; Doug Holman (Maria). Beloved Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Margaret Mayo. Helen was a very dedicated book keeper for the Tillsonburg News for 31 years, and Ingersoll Products for 18 years. She was very passionate about Stock Car Racing. Friends and relatives are invited to share memories of Helen at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. The funeral service for Helen will commence at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation. Interment will be held privately at the Langton Baptist Cemetery, at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
