Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Ajax, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Richard Borg for over 65 years. Loving mother to Anthony, Irene (Cos), Joseph (Cathy), Raymond (Mary) and Dorothy (Chris). Helen was also a cherished Nana to 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Helen is survived by her sister Nina Azzopardi and brother Charles Micalef in Malta. Born in Malta, Helen was deeply involved with her family. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and gardening and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family sends thanks to the many support workers who helped care for their mother in her time of need.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St. (Hwy. 10, N. of the QEW), ‪on Friday from 2-4‬ and ‪7-9 p.m.‬ Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 2340 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.
Interment Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.‬
