Heather Holtfoster (Anderson)
Passed away peacefully on Saturday April 21, 2018 surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 81. Heather, beloved wife in their 60th year of marriage to Joseph Holtfoster. Loving mother of Carolyn Boivin (Michael), and Richard (Sandra). Cherished Grandma of Kendal Holtfoster, Brooklyn Boivin, and Trey Boivin. Predeceased by her parents Len and Pearl Anderson. Dear sister of Ruth McLean, Georgina Harding, Allan (Eleanor), and Edward. Sister in law of Hilda and Harry Dyas and Phil Tkaczuk. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Heartfelt thanks to the staff in Palliative Care for the kindness and compassion given to Heather and her family during this difficult time. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, for Memorial Visitation on Saturday April 28th from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by Heather’s family.
