It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hayward Young announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at the age of 68 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughter Tania of Heatherton, five brothers: John (Enid) of Seaforth, Ont., Wayne of Vancouver, B.C., Maurice of Vancouver, B.C., Lloyd of Stephenville, Howard of Irishtown, six sisters: Nina (Rudy) Roberts of Pasadena, Leona (Dan) Goodhew of Stratford, Ont., Deborah Young of Stratford, Ont., Gloria Young of Stephenville, Catherine Young of Stratford, Ont., Frances Young of Stratford, Ont., three grandchildren: Brooklyn and Carter Young, Alexis Boutcher and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Howard and Theresa, nephew Cody, niece Stacey Young, grandmother Frances Peddle. Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Tuesday, September 11th, 2018 from 9:30- 11 am followed by funeral service at Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will take place at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
