Harvey Johnston died in his home after bravely fighting aggressive prostate cancer, just before his 68th birthday. Harvey was passionate about classic vehicles and selling new and used parts. He really enjoyed his job at Sargents Auto Electric. He loved family and especially babies. Harvey had patience, a good sense of humour, and loved a challenge. Harvey is survived by his wife of 42 years, Merle (nee Sheldon); his 3 children: Julie (Cal) Reid and their children: Lucas and Dexter: and their older children Andrea, Amy, and Amanda (Joe); with 5 great-grandchildren; Jeffrey (Tania) Johnston of Edmonton, and their girls: Jocelyn, Joanna and Jade; Jamilynn (Craig) Jezowski, and their children: Sorsha, and Warwick Harvey; his siblings: Marion Harty, his stepsister: Carman (Doris) Johnston, Fern (Ernest) Forbister, Verna (Eldon) Feniak, and Garry (Karen) Johnston; and his mother-in-law: Muriel Sheldon. Harvey was predeceased by: his parents: James in 1981 and Lucy in 2006. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Alban’s Cathedral, 1410 Bishop McLean Crescent, Prince Albert.
