Hannelore Hildegard Johle Gruner 1937 2018

Obituary for
Hannelore Hildegard Johle (Gruner)
In loving memory of Hannelore Hildegard Johle, born on November 15, 1937 in Dittersdorf, Germany passed away on September 11, 2018 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dieter, and by her two children Marion and Ernst, their spouses Harold and Laurie, and their children, Stephanie, Christina, Jonathan, Stacey and Carolyn and her six great grandchildren. She began her Canadian journey in August of 1958, when she arrived by boat with Dieter. They lived in Batawa, and she worked at Bata Shoes until her second child was born. They built a new home on the Glen Miller Road in Frankford in 1974 and have enjoyed their life together there until a few weeks ago. We would like to thank her Oncologist, Dr. Negar Chooback from BGH, her Respirologist Dr. Chris Parker from KGH, her long time Family Doctor Donald Cooke in Trenton and most recently the nurses of ParaMed, especially Greg, who showed great patience and understanding for Mom. A Celebration of Life will be hosted by her family on Saturday, September 15, 2018 between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. at 1482 Harrington Road, in Frankford. All that knew our Mom and Oma are welcome to drop by and visit with family and friends at their convenience.
