Hallam M. Curtis, 62, of Miramichi passed away on September 8, 2018. Born in Blackville, N.B., Hallam was the son of the late Murray and Mabel (Grady) Curtis. A retired plumber and pipe-fitter of the United Association Local 325, Hallam was also an active member of Saint Andrew’s United Church in Chatham, having served on the Board of Stewards, Property Committee, Summer Community Kitchen, and in a variety of other roles. Hallam is survived by his loving wife Donna (Quinn) Curtis; daughter Coralie Curtis of Fredericton; sisters Marsha (John) Duffy of Blackville and Janice Miner of Saint John; brothers Grady (Sue) Curtis of Musquash and Jeff (Janet) Curtis of Doaktown; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and step-mother Georgina Curtis; sisters Lynn Croft, Sandra and Susan Curtis; and brothers Larke Curtis and Gary Curtis. Hallam M. Curtis is resting at Maher’s Funeral Home in Miramichi, N.B. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Saint Andrew’s United Church, located at 188 Wellington Street, Miramichi, N.B. E1N 1M4, with Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating. As an expression of sympathy a donation may be made to Saint Andrew’s United Church or Saint Andrew’s Cemetery, located at 152 Main Street, Blackville, N.B.
