Lovingly Remembered
Peacefully on Monday September 4, 2018, Guy W. M. Adams, age 71, of Sherwood Park, Alberta quietly slipped away at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta.
Guy was born in Selkirk, Manitoba to the late Eleanor LeClair, May 22, 1947. He was predeceased by his father Martin Bruce and brothers Brian and Les Bruce.
Guy was talented and gifted musically and made his living as a professional musician and song stylist. He later completed Nechi Training and worked at Poundmaker’s Lodge Treatment Centre as an Addictions Counsellor. Upon retirement he drove for Strathcona County Transit.
Guy is survived by his wife Terri and their two children Jocelyn (Norman) of Innisfail, Alberta and Mark (Lisa) of Sherwood Park, Alberta. His son Jesse Kinch, Red Deer, Alberta, his daughter Jaileigh Tranter (Colin), Elan Tranter (Jamie). Guy especially enjoyed his role of Grandfather to 15 grandchildren and was blessed with 9 Great grandchildren, and numerous Nephews and Nieces.
Viewing will be held at Glenwood Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, Friday September 7, 2018 from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm. A memorial service will follow.
The Family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Michael Graff, Strathcona County Home Care, We Care. The Drs. And staff of Grey Nuns Community Hospital. To the Strathcona County EMS a special thank you.
