1963-2018
The death occurred suddenly at North Cape on Tuesday,
September 18, 2018, of Glen John DesRoches of Tignish, PEI., beloved
husband of Lorna Mary (nee Dugay) DesRoches. Born at Alberton on March
5, 1963, he was the cherished son of Kevin and Marie (nee Arsenault)
DesRoches.
Loving father of Shannon (Lisa) of Halifax, Sheldon
(Charlotte) of Alberton, Kyla (Chris) of Tignish and Lucas of Fort
McMurray. Caring grandfather of Jade, Bella, Caden and Holden. Dear
brother to Blair (Jenny) of Tignish, Matthew (Lorna) of Alberton,
Joanne (Rodney) McLean of Huntley and Cheryl of Tignish. Son-in-law of
Addie Dugay (late Joe) of St. Louis. He is also survived by
brothers-in-law, Ivan (Melinda) Arsenault of St. Peter and St. Paul,
Gary (Tiny) Arsenault of St. Louis, Rodney (Sheila) Arsenault of
Leoville, Ricky Arsenault of St. Louis and Randy (Cindy) Arsenault of
Myrick’s Shore. He will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
He was predeceased by a brother in infancy.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for
visiting hours Wednesday, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 1:00
until time of departure. Funeral Thursday afternoon from St. Simon and
St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 4:00 p.m., Rev. Albin
Arsenault, Celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy memorials to the St. Simon and
St. Jude Building Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
