Glen Anthony Frank “Cranky” Dessario
Born July 14, 1932. Died Aug. 12, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. Predeceased by his wife Joan (nee Towle, May 2015), brother Doug (1963) and parents Guiseppe & Alexandrina. Loving father of Darlene Brill, and Glen Jr. at home. Beloved nonno of Alannah and Ashley-Rae Brill, father-in-law of Fred Brill. Survived by brother Harvey “Des” Dessario and wife Anne (nee Pringle) of Penticton, B.C. Good buddy of Dave Darocy and “the guys”. Best companion to “Baxter” the cat.
Dad was a former part share owner and Heavy Duty Construction Superintendent for MBL/International for over 35 years and an honourary Life Member/ Past President (2007, 2009-2012) of RCL Branch #594; becoming a member of the original built Legion in 1964. He started the Order of Fraternals with a core group and for many years held draws, steak and spaghetti dinners, and fundraisers in the expropriation, settlement and building of the new RCL Branch #594 Tecumseh. His spirit will live on forever in his favourite place “The Glen Dessario Room”.
