Gladys Mabel Arenburg, 95, of Windsor, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in the Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born on September 18, 1923 in Wolfville, Kings County. She was a daughter of the late, Luke and Margaret (Rogers) Saulnier.
Gladys was a member of the Salvation Army and League of Mercy of the Home League.
Surviving is her daughter, Shirley Arenburg, Windsor; brother, Allison Saulnier, Sardis, British Columbia.
Predeceased by her husband, Claude; daughter, Margaret Arenburg; son, David; brother, James; sisters, Lillian (Alle) Iyoupe, Greenwood; Doris (Harry) Waye, Hantsport; Marjorie (Hugh) Burns, Greenwood; Florence in infancy.
A special thanks is extended to the staff at Dykeland Lodge for the excellent care and compassion that Gladys received.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 am, Saturday, November 17, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 10:30 in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, N.S. B0N 2T0. Captain Cory Fifield officiating.
Interment will be in the Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport.
Donations in memory of Gladys may be made to the Salvation Army. To have a donation card placed, please call Lindsay’s (902~798~2232).
