Giuseppe “Joseph” Bietola
November 13, 1946 – September 18, 2018
71 years. Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Dear father of Tresa Hagell & her husband Mike of Windsor. Loving Nonno of Zachary. Former husband and life-long friend of Nancy Robertson. Beloved son of the late Francesco and Theresa Bietola and loving brother of Mary Laramie & her husband Larry, Gloria Bietola and Bruno Bietola & his wife Rita. Joe was a proud “brother” of the I.B.E.W. Local #773 for 50 years. He will be best remembered for the love of his family, his hearty laugh and fondness for singing at family functions. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., with Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home proceeding to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Avenue) for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Joe’s memory would be appreciated by his family.
