Brown, Gillian Romola (nee Hargreaves)
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Alan. Dear mother of Sallie, and Carolyn and the late David and Matthew. Cherished grandmother of Jacob, Jordan and Caleb. Gillian will also be greatly missed by her sister Davina (Ken) Pickering and sister-in-law Marjorie Segna.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church 42 Dawson Rd Orangeville, ON L9W 2W3 on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11:15 a.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Gillian in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
