GILBERT “GIB” TURNER
of Kearney
Peacefully at Roger’s Cove in Huntsville on Tuesday January 30, 2018. Gib Turner, beloved husband of the late Marian Turner (nee Tudhope), was in his 87th year.
Gib is survived by his son Ken and granddaughters Gennie and Lynsey (Adam).
Dear brother of Ron (Fay) and the late Calvin Turner.
Gib will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home – Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A service to celebrate the life of the late Gib will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Nina Fulford officiating.
Spring interment at the Knox United Cemetery in Kearney.
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Harmony United Congregation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
