OBITUARY
Gertrude Anita Labbe
November 24, 1932 – December 7, 2018
Passed away peacefully in her sleep, at age 86 on December 7, 2018.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Gilles Henry Labbe and her two loving daughters; Louise Vermeer and her husband Henk of Texas and Pauline Young-Davis and her husband Jason of Cambridge, grandchildren; Nikki (Chris) Sterlacci, Brian (Amanda) Young, Jeff (Erin) Young, Cherie Povey and great-grandchildren; Cameron, Carson, Jasmine, and Sage. Gertrude is also survived by several loving sisters in St. Fabien, Quebec; Chantal Bilodeau, Gabrielle Labrecque, Rachel Dugas, and Marie Caron along with many loved nephews and nieces, near and far. Gertrude Doyon Labbe, a loving wife and patient mother has gone on to join her beloved daughter Suzanne Monique Labbe along with her parents, William Doyon and Marie-Alice Pare and siblings; Albertus Doyon, Monique Doyon Bilodeau, Jean Paul Doyon, Phillip Doyon, Tony Doyon, Francois Doyon, Jeanne Doyon Mercier and Valere Doyon. The Visitation will take place at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) on Wednesday, December 12th from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Coutts Chapel on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow. A Reception will be held following the service at The French Club, 647 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge. She will be sadly missed… our prayer is to be reunited again with her and with all our loved ones.
