It is with great sadness the family of Gérard Maisonneuve announces his passing on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the age of 90.
He is survived by his spouse of 66 years, Carmen Marcotte, his two daughters, five sons, their spouses, seventeen grand-children, twenty-five great grand-children, a brother, Paul-Émile Maisonneuve, 99 years of age, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial for Gérard will be held on Friday, January, 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at église Saint-Thomas -d’Aquin church, (8410-89 Street, Edmonton, AB) with Father Daniel Tshimbalanga officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Thomas Health Centre who cared with much compassion for Gérard during his stay there.
Memorial contributions may be made in Gérard’s name to: The Alzheimer’s Society.
