THOMPSON, George
Otonabee hockey player, Indian River dart mate, Winfield’s horse lover, smiling fishing buddy, and sarcastic joke maker.
Passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 16, 2018 in hospital, in his 67th year. He was surrounded by family and friends listening to the Beatles. George, beloved husband of Diane (nee Henderson) and Father of Derek (Ashley), Jessica (Josh McGrath), and Greg Thompson. Grand-Dad to his seven grandchildren Cheyenne, Danica, Cori, Ellie, Ethan, Ava, and Cole. Loving son of Bette Thompson and the late George Thompson Sr. Brother of Deb, Cathy (Andy), Kim (Dave), and Kelly (Mike). Greatly missed by his family and many friends. A celebration of his life will occur at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME – 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Friday, September 21st, 2018 with visitation starting at 1:30 p.m. Service to be held at 3:30 p.m.
