George Fletcher passed away peacefully on Friday, April 20th at Hospice Wellington, Guelph. George in his 84th year was the beloved husband of Margaret Fletcher (McMillan) for 54 years and dear father of Shirley Dean (her husband Robert) and Robert Fletcher (his wife Cheryl). Dearly missed by grand children Jennifer Dean and Jessica Fletcher. Dear brother of Allan Fletcher, sisters Georgina Ferguson, Debbie Fish, Mary Penson, Margaret Stapleton, and Joan Hutchinson.
Friends are invited to Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main Street South, Erin on Wednesday, April 25th from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 26th in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Everton Cemetery in the spring of 2018. Donations in George’s memory can be made to Hospice Wellington, Erin Agricultural Society and Ballinafad United Church.
