Gary Joseph McEwen passed away peacefully, with his family by his side at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on Monday, August 13th, 2018. Age 79 years.
Predeceased by parents Bryan John McEwen and Emmeline Harriet (Simpson). Beloved husband of Mary Ann (Holmes) McEwen for 59 years. Loving father of Debbie and her husband Dennis Brownley; Kim and her husband Peter Shadgett; Cindy and her husband Wes Beatty. Dear Grandpa of Amber (Lacey), Bre-Ann, Jerad, Ashleigh (Mitch), Taylor, Cameron (Biata), Nathan (Laura), Chad, Kurt, Nigel, and great Grandpa to Tyson, Tiana, Bryan, Violetta, and Maverix. Dear brother of June Profit (husband the late Arthur); Roger (Bud) McEwen and his wife Wayne; Lois Crisp and her husband Edwin; Ross McEwen and his wife Maureen; and the late Dawne Epps (husband the late Bruce). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home on Thursday, August 16th, 2018
between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Funeral Service in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 17th at 11:00 A.M. Luncheon to follow.
Interment Lakeview Cemetery, McKellar.
