Mrs. Gail Francoise Schultz of Bashaw, Alberta, passed away at the Lacombe Hospital on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the age of 80 years. Gail was born on February 21, 1938 in Island Hill, Saskatchewan.
She was a beloved presence in the Bashaw Community and will be very deeply and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Gail will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Glenda Heidt (Terry) of Red Deer, Karen Wilson (Wayne) of Bashaw and Darlene Schierman (Dwain) of Lacombe. She will also be dearly missed by her eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren: Leanne Heidt Coulter and Teagan and Kinley, Scott Heidt (Amy) and Ashton and Kesler, Steven Wilson (Jerilee) and Annika and Layna, Sheila Wilson Cadman (Kyle) and Halle, Samantha, Emry and Parker, Kristy Wilson Braseth and Blake, Shane Schierman (Michelle) and Scotlyn, Shelley Schierman Blair and Hudson, Drennan and Macklin, Shantelle Schierman Landsman (Kevin) and Violet.
She spent her last few years enjoying life to the fullest with her dear friend Carl. Gail was predeceased by her husband Oscar, her parents Clifford and Irma Collier, her infant sister Alice, and her infant brother Roy. Gail was also a cherished sister-in-law, auntie and a beautiful friend and neighbour. Her church family will miss her dearly as she was the organist and pianist for 57 years. She gave a lifetime of love and memories.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Bashaw.
The Interment Service will take place at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery following the lunch.
Memorial Donations may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or to the charity of one’s choice.
