Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on August 29, 2018, at 73 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Francis J. Murphy and Sarah Hannah (Maher) Murphy and his father and mother-in-law James and Mary (Ebsary), brother-in-law James Ebsary, nephew Mark LeMessurier. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 54 years Linda (Ebsary) Murphy and his devoted daughter Doreen, son-in-law son Dave Tancock, grandchildren Nichole (Justin) and unborn Baby Girl, Ashley (Greg) and Issac, poppy’s adored great-grandson. Also leaving to mourn are Frank’s siblings William J. Murphy (Catherine Dagg), Elizabeth Murphy (Charlie Byrne), David J. Murphy (Jean Murphy), Terrence Murphy (Darlene O’Reilly Sullivan), Kay LeMessurier (Mac LeMessurier) and Brendan L. Murphy (Thelma (Tammy) Shears); brother-in-law David Ebsary (Brenda Evans). Left also to mourn and to celebrate Uncle Frank’s life are his wonderful nieces and nephews. A devoted family man, exceptional Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Very special nephew Eric Ebsary and a large circle of family and friends including his Puppy Baby Athena. Frank was well known throughout the restaurant, hotel and hospital industries and was known by his kind and honest approach to every day of his long and remarkable career. Rest in eternal peace, we love you. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road with visitation on Thursday 7pm – 9pm and Friday 10am – 12noon, 2pm – 4pm & 7pm – 9pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 9:30am from Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Road. Interment to take place at Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Frank’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
