Frank “Lucky” Timleck
TIMLECK, Frank (Lucky) –
Peacefully at the Village of Tansley Woods Retirement Centre, Burlington, on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the age of 91. Beloved husband for 66 years of the late Mary Timleck (nee Gavin). Loving father of Daniel Timleck (Linda) and Colleen Timleck. Cherished grandfather of Shelby and Gavin. Frank was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Lucy Alice Timleck and by his 17 siblings. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Special thanks to the entire staff at the Village of Tansley Woods Retirement Centre and his good friend Bob Moore for their care and compassion. Frank retired as District Chief from the North York Fire Department in 1985 after 30 years on the department. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington, on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill, ON. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Frank are asked to please consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
