It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Francesco (Frank) Bozzo on September 24th, 2018, in his 75th year.
Beloved husband to Rosa (nee Ciardullo) for the last 52 years.
Loving Father to Marietta, Mike and Nadia, and Annalisa. Most proud and loving Nonno to Joseph, Frankie, Adriano, Moises and his little princess Michaela.
Predeceased by his parents, Michele and Maria Bozzo, Elisabetta Bozzo and in-laws Armando and Concetta Ciardullo.
Loving brother of Assunta and the late Luciano Fortino and Gina and the late Michele Presta.
Dear brother-in-law of the late Yolanda and Frank Fortino, Annamaria and Giovanni Beltrano and Luigi and Jenny Ciardullo. Frank was admired and adored by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Frank was a retired employee of Stelco with 35 years of service. He loved to garden and feed family and friends with his harvest. Frank was the biggest fan to his grandson’s sport teams, never missing a game to cheer them on.
He touched the lives of so many and everyone who met Frank has a special story.
His passion and dedication to his parish, St. Francis Xavier Church and the Festival of St. Michael the Archangel that he founded, is a legacy he leaves throughout the community of Donnici and Hamilton. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street E. on Thursday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 5 – 9 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 5 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 12 noon.
Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the Family.
