Baker, Mary Helen Frances (O’Shea)
Fran passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Sunday December the 9th, 2018 at the age of 90 years.
Loving wife for 59 years of Eddie Baker. She leaves behind her eight children; Anne (Doug), Gillie, Annie-Laurie, May Ellen, Colleen. Hugh, Cassidy, Andrew, Karley. Jean (Alan), Stephen, Janet, Sally. Liz (Larry), Emily, Joseph. Jim (Debra), Michael, Julia, William. Don (Beth), Claire, Patsy. Patrick (Sandy), Shea, Charley. Katie (Chad), Jack, Hugo. And her seven great grandchildren.
Loved daughter of the late William and Janet O’Shea. Pre-deceased by her beloved twin sister Margaret MacDonald, Angela, Patricia, and Janet O’Shea, Betty McDonald, Mary Catherine Morris and her two brothers Joe and Donnie O’Shea.
As a dedicated nurse she welcomed new lives into the world and held the hands of countless others who departed. She spent her last few days remembering her childhood on the farm in Glen Nevis. Her loved ones were never far from her mind. We are comforted by the thought that she has been reunited with her family and friends who have gone before her.
We would like to acknowledge our appreciation to the dedicated staff at Kane House, St. Joseph’s Villa and Chateau Cornwall for their compassionate care of our Mother.
Visitation will take place at the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday December 14, 2018 from 2-5PM. Her funeral will be celebrated at St. Columban’s Church on Saturday December 15, 2018 at 11AM.
