Florence May Batch April 30th 2018

Florence May Batch – A long-time resident of Trail, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on April 30, 2018 at Rosewood Village. May was born in Cupar, Saskatchewan.
May was life-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Brand #11 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, crocheting and most of all dancing.
She is survived by her son Cyril (Pam) Batch, 7 grandchildren; Bret (Samantha) Hutchings, Kent (Karen) Hutchings, Heather (Jason) Avis, Robyn (Mike) Fitzpatrick, Shane (Tracy) Batch, Shauna (Mike) Flux and Christina (Robert) Williams, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, her sister Valerie Lythgoe, her son-in-law Hugh Hutchings and her daughter-in-law Patty Batch. May was predeceased by her loving husband Charlie, her daughter Valerie Hutchings, her son Gerry Batch and her long-time companion Bert Robson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Trail Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11 with Gwen Ziprick, Celebrant. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
