Florence Frances Louise Carlile (nee Molson) passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on Saturday May 26, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Harold Carlile, she was born in Petawawa to Mary (Burger) and Albert Molson, but lived most of her life in Toronto where she worked for many years at Stelco Steel. Survived by her youngest sister Shirley (Richard) Mielke, Florence was predeceased by siblings Benny (late Isobel) Molson, Percy (late Pat) Molson, Adeline (late Mike) Houston and Bernice (late Gerry) Deschenes, nephew David Mielke and niece Cheryl Houston. She will be fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Mike Houston, Colleen Redmond, Stanley, Gary and Joella Molson, Pat and Danny Deschenes, Brenda Ingersoll, Donna Harrington, Janet Leeck and Jimmy Mielke. We wish to thank the staff and nurses at Marianhill B-1 Wing, for the exceptional care and kindness provided to our sister and aunt, especially in her last days. As per her wishes there is no visitation. An Interment service will take place in Riverside Cemetery, 1567 Royal York Road, Toronto on Monday afternoon June 4, 2018 at 1 o’clock.
