James Steve Flaherty
June 15, 1943 – July 12, 2018
It is with much sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved, husband, father, uncle and grand-father James “Jim”, at the age of 75 years.
Jim will forever be remembered by: his wife of 53 years, Patricia, sons: Doyle (Kelly), and Ward (Mary Ann), grand-children: Travis, Bronwyn, Darcy, Reid, his sister Patricia (Ed) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Steve and Mary, sister Kathleen and brother John.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Calahoo, AB., with overflow seating in the Calahoo Hall. Inurnment to follow at the Calahoo Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the Good Samaritan Stony Plain Care Centre for their kindness, support and care shown to Jim during his stay there. A special thank-you to Dr. Datar and the wonderful staff at the Care Centre, especially Jacinta, Connie, Shawna, Patricia, Kathy, Patty, Jennica and Danton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Jim’s honor may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
