Mrs. Fern Ash (nee Hilts)
March 18th, 1937 – November 2nd, 2018
With heavy hearts her family announces her passing on Friday November 2nd, 2018 the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of the late Grant Ash. She will be deeply missed by her son Dean (Tammy) Ash, and her daughter Lana (Jim) Kershaw, grandsons James (Laura), Alex Kershaw, Jordan Frank and granddaughter Chloe Frank. She was the sister of the late Clayton (Claudette) Hilts of Iroquois Falls, late Sheldon Hilts (Mary Gervais) of Iroquois Falls, Fay (late Ron) Bertand of Cochrane, late Richard (Bev) Hilts of Iroquois Falls, Dale (Susie) Hilts of Smooth Rock Falls, Billy (Carole) Hilts of Iroquois Falls, and Cindy (Terry) McIntosh of Grimsby. Sister-in-law to late Keith (June) Ash of Cochrane, late Ivan (Elsie) Ash of Peterborough, late Ferna (late Blair) Gallaghar, late Edna (late Doug) Moore, Doreen (late Jack) McInnis of Brampton, Ruth (late Norbert) Lefebvre of Georgetown and late Erlene (late Don) Keip. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also predeceased by her parents Joseph and Thelma Hilts.
The interment and the celebration of her life will be held in the spring of 2019.
