1954-2018
Fernande McDonald, 63, of Residence Moncton and formerly of
Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Dr
Georges-L-Dumont University Hospital Center, on Friday September 7,
2018. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late John and
Leona (Cormier) McDonald.
Fernande will be sadly missed by her mother, Leona, her daughters;
Sylvie Cormier (Luc) of Moncton, Michelle Cormier (Pierre) of
Bouctouche, her grandchildren; Camille, Charlie, Zacharie and
Ève. She also leaves to mourn her sister, Denise McDonald
(Eddie Johnson) of Grande-Digue, her brothers; Rheal (Monique) of
Saint-Maurice, Normand (Joceline) of Bathurst, Yvon (Denise), Maurice
(Diane), both of Bouctouche and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one brother, Laurie.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église Bouctouche, on Wednesday September 12, 2018 from
10 to 12am and from 2 to 3:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the
Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday September 12,
2018 at 4:00pm.
In memory of Fernande a donation can be made to the Alzheimer Society
of Canada.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
