Fernande Zelie Munro
June 9, 1934 – November 30, 2018
Fern passed away on November 30, 2018, in Prince Albert, SK. Fern recalled her childhood as very brief as she married and moved away from home at a very young age. Fern considered herself fortunate to have held jobs with the family business, Munro’s Sound Centre, as well as the Coronet Motor Hotel and Corrections. She took great pride in her yard. Her hard work gifted us all with an eternal memory of beautiful flowers, birds singing, picnics with peach juice, playful pets, backyard ball games, and unconditional love. Her compassion lead her to many years of volunteering, especially with Meals On Wheels. She was very thankful for her life, family, friends and her journey. On all the roads she took, she was accompanied by her Lord Jesus who took her hand to lead her family on a journey of wonderment. Her outlook was, we battle bad times with love and support for one another. She ended her journey with family by her side.
Fern is survived by her children; Tim (Laurie), Terry (Mitzi), Todd (Marj), Louise Shultz (Rick), Tom (Wendy). Her grandchildren; James (Tina), David, Megan (Andrew), Terron, Sarah (Luc), Brianne, Sandy Shultz (Acia), Tanner Shultz (Danica), Lacy Shultz (Adam), Jared Brown (Shafalta) and Baylee. Her great-grandchildren; Lukas, Perrin, Tristan, Madison, Lily, Skya, Corbin, Finnley Shultz, Everly Shultz, and Sawyer Shultz.
Fern was predeceased by her parents; Zoe Perus and Joseph Albert Dupuit, siblings; Alex Dupuit and Marie Beck
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Father Tuyen Vu will be officiating. In lieu of other tributes, the family requests that donations be made in Fern’s name to Alzheimer Society at www.alzheimer.ca
