MAVETY, Evelyn Joyce (nee Meredith)
passed away November 20, 2018 at the age of 97 at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington.
Predeceased by her husband Albert of 60 years, her twin sister Dorothy and her brother George.
She is survived by her sons Richard (Valerie) and Bruce (Pauline). She doted on her grandchildren Kristen, Meaghan (Will) and Hailley (Steve). She was a loving Great Grammie to Avery and Gavin and the 5 family furry friends.
Evelyn was a volunteer at the old Oakville hospital for 25 years.
She sold her house in Oakville and moved to Heritage Place Retirement Home where she met new friends and started to play bridge again and was very busy socially. She will be tremendously missed at our family Sunday dinners.
Visitation is 2-4pm December 2 at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr St).
