BORSUK, Evelyn – (nee Cordes) Peacefully, on Saturday, December 8, 2018, after having celebrated her one hundredth birthday in July.
Wife of the late William Borsuk. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Harvey and Sandra Borsuk, Samuel Borsuk and Beverley Fox of Aurora, Ontario, Edward Borsuk and Shawn O’Reilly of Thornhill, Ontario, the late Allen Borsuk and Janice Gluskin of Toronto. Cherished Bubby of Wendy and Howard, Elisa, Tanya and Danielle, Daniel and Natasha, Jennifer and Andrew, Andrea, Michael and Katelyn. Proud and loving great-Bubby of Emily, Olivia, Dov, Michayla, William, Aria and Penelope. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Claire Adelman and the late Harvey Cohen and the late Gerry Adelman, Mary and the late Lenny Cordes, the late Issie and the late Claire Cordes, the late Carl and the late Rhoda Cordes, the late Sam and the late Kay Cordes; and sister-in-law of Lily and the late Moe Borsuk, the late Tillie and the late Joe Posner, the late Solly and the late Lily Borsuk. Evelyn will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. Heartfelt gratitude to Evelyn’s caregivers for their many years of devotion and kindness. Montreal Shiva at Harvey’s home, 17 Fabre Pl., D.D.O., through Monday evening; Edward and Samuel Borsuk will be continuing Shiva in Toronto Thursday through Sunday at 27 Green Bush Cres., Thornhill.
