Eva Elizabeth Scott
1934-2018
With broken hearts we announce the passing or our beloved mother, Eva
E. Scott of Dumfries, NB who passed away on July 12, 2018 at Hospice
Fredericton. Eva was born on December 30, 1934 at Union Corner,
Carleton, Co., NB, a daughter of the late Stanley and Ruth (Lloyd)
Dickison.
She is survived by her children, Myrna Currie (Brian), Burtts Corner,
NB, Wanda Miller (Orland), Minto, NB, Danny Scott (Geraldine),
Nackawic, Timothy Scott (Mona), Dieppe, NB, Patricia Parker (Kent),
Prince William, NB and Robert Scott (Janet), Dumfries, NB;16
grandchildren, Amanda (Jason), Maggie (Bryan), Brianne (Ben), BJ,
Jessica (Greg), James, Billie-Jo (Brian), Merrillee (Jeff), Adam,
Jennifer (Shawn), Allison (Danielle), Tricia, Kristi (Tim), Nicole
(Kyle), Cameron and Raegan; a grandson-in-law, Duane; 29 great
grandchildren, Parker, Lena, Nevaeh, Eva, Harvick, Kimberly, Bradley,
Seirra, Gavin, Aimee-Lynn, Jaxon, Ellie, Layne, Jayda, Shelby,
Caitlyn, Liam, Cody, Sophie, Tanner, Kylar, Daimon, Davis, Ashton,
Justice, Alita, James, Brendon and baby Lydia; siblings, Elaine Mabie,
Laurie Cronkhite (Danny), Arlene Dick (David), Andrew Dickison
(Annie), Arden Dickison (Louise), David Dickison (Pam) and Beverly
Dickison (Joan); sisters-in-law, Doris Dickison, Marjorie Dickison,
Nancy Dickison, Geraldine Scott and Elsie Haines; several nieces,
nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Eva was predeceased by her husband, Merlyn
Scott in 2017, a granddaughter, Kate McNeill; two sisters, Gladys
McCutcheon, Arleigh Mabie and three brothers, James, Donald and Robert
Dickison.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral
service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 2 pm from the funeral
home chapel with Alice Finnamore officiating. A reception will be
held in the funeral home dining room, followed by interment at Barony
Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Eva, the family has
suggested the Barony Cemetery or Hospice Fredericton.
