Peacefully on January 5, 2018 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (Turner) and the late Mary (1998). Cherished father of Jim and Pat, Sue and Al Jones, Theresa and Norm McColl, Gerry and Cindy. Loving stepfather to Sharlene and Mel Peladeau, Don and Jan, Chris and Nancy, Mark and Barbara. Loving grandfather of Nicole, Alex, Adam and Connor. Great-grandfather of Miller. He will be deeply missed by his 9 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren. Loving brother of Marie Gagnier, Gabrielle Trescone and Al. Pre-deceased by his parents Joseph & Clara and brothers Armand, Wilfred, Bruno, Bernard, Philip, Joseph and George. Gene was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Georgetown and Windsor. If you so desire, donations to The St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.
