Ester Douthwright
1945-2018
Ester Douthwright of Turtle Creek passed away at home on
December 21, 2018 at the age of 73. Born in Petitcodiac, she was the
daughter of the late Charlotte Martin.
She was a member of the Dawson Settlement Baptist Church. She
enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and volunteering at the
Lakeview Manor.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Allan (Lee) of
Riverview; sisters, Eleanor MacDonald of Turtle Creek, Carol (Rick)
Eagle; brothers, Jack Weir of Turtle Creek and Dale. Besides her
parents, Ester was predeceased by her husband, Allan, in 1990,
brothers, Eric, Ray, Guy, Clarence, Howard, Gerald and Benny, and
sisters Hilda, Charlotte and Audrey.
A funeral service will be held for from Cobb’s
Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 220 Whitepine Rd. Riverview,
869-2007 on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 1:00pm with Rev. David Ross
officiating. Visitation will take place before the service from
12:00pm to 1:00pm. The interment will follow the service at Fair Haven
Cemetery. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Salvation
Army would be greatly appreciated by the family.
