Obituary for
Ernest James Forsey
Ernest James Forsey of Victoria Cove, NL. Passed away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, May 30th after a short illness. Ernest was 76.
Predeceased by his parents Winnie and Oswald Forsey, son Derek Forsey and sister Mary Hodge.
Left with loving and great memories are his wife Dianna Sensabaugh, grandson Jesse Forsey of Montreal, brother Oscar and wife Sylvia Forsey of Glenwood, Audrey Boyd of Scarborough, ON Dianna’s sister and brother-in-law Starr and Ken Zawaly of Fonthill, ON; brother Richard Sensabaugh and wife Phyllis of Welland, ON; as well as a circle of nieces and nephews and friends.
Ernest had one wish on his “ Bucket List “ to sail the Atlantic ocean to Europe and other exotic destinations….He did just that.
May 1998 Ernie and Dianna set sail from Hamilton, ON. on their sailboat “ Gander Bay “ for an adventure of a life time.
They returned to Ontario in 2000 only to leave again in 2006 to continue the sailing adventure.
They settled in Victoria Cove, NL. in 2010 where gardening and “ Chickens “ became their new hobby!
Cremation has taken place.
Celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
This was what Ernie lived by….
