Erick Valentine (Val) Rigsby of Cremona, Alberta passed away September 11, 2018 at the age of 65. Erick was raised on the family farm near big prairie only to return to retire there with his grandchildren. He was so proud to watch his grandkids, 5th generation, play and grow up on the family farm as he did.
His carefree, adventurous, heart of gold made him your friend upon first handshake. Erick was always eager to lend a helping hand, bring laughter to every situation, and point out the joy and beauty in the simplest things. He loved to travel new routes and experience all cultures and learn their history. Erick enjoyed all nature’s creation from the common, the unique, and even the dangerous ones. Human or animals he always saw the good. He always thought laughter was the best medicine. You could always hear him coming, making his presence known with his contagious laugh and smile. We are very blessed to have him in our lives as a dad, uncle, cousin, grandpa, great-papa, and dear friend. He will be cherished and missed by all.
