Eric Per Ronaasen passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Born November 2, 1953 in Barrhead, Alberta, Eric was the beloved son of the late Sven and Adeline (Machtemes) Ronaasen. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Annette (Kippers), three children and five grandchildren; daughters, Candace (Mathieu) Carbonneau and grandsons, Mason and Tyler, Chantel (Carlos) Huezo and granddaughter, Gabriela; son, Brett Ronaasen (Terry Lynn Van Bruinessen) and grandsons, Jesse and Riley. Three sisters; Gloria (Gene) Koch, Ingrid (Ed) Nanninga, and Sylvia (Ken) Nanninga; as well as numerous other family members and many dear friends.
In honour of Eric’s request there will be a Celebration of Life on October 27 at Mellowdale Hall at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to AHS Barrhead Home Care or Mellowdale Community Cemetery.
