Elizabeth (Betty) Enns passed away at the AgeCare Walden Heights Seniors Community after a long illness with Parkinson Syndrome on Saturday June 2, 2018 at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by parents, Aaron and Anna Dyck; brothers, Abe, Henry, Aron and David; sisters, Anne Fillmore, Marie Burke, and Agnes Steve; first husband, Abram Enns; son, Harvey Enns; and second husband, Edwin Simpson. Betty is survived by daughter Laura Graham (Bill), son Murray Enns, grandson Chris Graham (Sophia), brother Jake Dyck, sister Kay Schellenberg, many nieces and nephews, and friends gathered during her long life in Jasper and Calgary, Alberta. Memorial service will be held at the Deer Park United Church (77 Deer Point Road SE) on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held in Jasper at a later date. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Betty’s family through www.evanjstrong.com. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Parkinson Association of Alberta (120, 6835 Railway Street SE, Calgary, AB T2H 2V6; 403-243-9901; parkinsonassociation.ca/).
