“Ann”-
Age 72 years of Grand Anse, Richmond Co., died
Saturday, July 14, 2017 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Ann was
born in Arichat, on December 17, 1945. She was the daughter of Top
& Ellen Kehoe; siblings; Rose (Bill Bowen); Dee (Bill
Keating); brother, Gerald Kehoe, deceased (Valerie Rogers). She is
survived by her maternal son, Chris Gurney (Lyn Britten), and 3
beautiful grandchildren: Megan, Brittney, and Will; and her extended
family; husband Sidney England, step-sons, Mark (Angeline, Luke, and
Miles); Gerry (Leigh, Mat, Lynsie, Kaliegh, Robin and Brady);
step-daughter, Beryl (Brook and Blake).
Ann has worked in the field of Human Services as a Counselor
Care Worker with Special needs People both in the school system,
community and most recent Residential Care Home for
Seniors, Heritage House, Port Hood. She also
enjoyed and volunteered working in the different not for profit
organizations, Rocky Bay Neighbourhood Assoc., Rocky Bay Irish
Club/
Quilters, Seniors Coalition, and the Isle Madame Garden
Club.
A memorial service will be held at the Rocky Bay Irish Club,
751 Rocky Bay Road, on Tuesday, July 24, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Susan
Slater officiating. A reception will follow also at the Rocky Bay
Irish Club.
Memorial donations can be made to the Cape Breton Cancer
Patient Care Fund or the Rocky Bay Community Healing
Garden.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. De
Roche and the palliative care nursing staff at the Strait Richmond
Hospital for the excellent care shown to Ann during her time there.

Board/Members, Family, and Friends, for making this Celebration So
Special!
Cremation has taken place under the care of Dennis Haverstock
Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Words of comfort may be forwarded to
