Obituary of Eleanor McIlroy
McILROY, Eleanor Rose (nee Strano)
Died peacefully in Toronto on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the age of 98, with her daughters at her side throughout a challenging illness.
Eleanor leaves two daughters, Mary (Patrick Mulqueen) and Helen (Catherine Maunsell). She was predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 1996 after 49 years of marriage.
Eleanor’s family want to thank the doctors and nurses of Bridgepoint Active Healthcare, Palliative Care Unit for their attentive care.
A private gathering will be held in Eleanor’s memory at a later date.
