Eleanor Theresa Boudreau

It is with great sadness the family of Eleanor Theresa Boudreau of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Richard O. Boudreau, announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Oromocto Public Hospital.
She was born on December 16, 1927 to the late Joseph and Margaret (Comeau) Boudreau of Joggins, NS. Eleanor was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, grandmother, neighbour and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Richard (Linda) Boudreau Janet (Julien) Michaud and Michelle (Michael) Code all of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Jennifer Michaud, Melissa Michaud, Josh (Becky) Boudreau, Jared (Caitlin) Boudreau, Kathryn (Donnie) DiPaolo and Matthew (Audrey) Code; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Ava and Abrey DiPaolo, James and Thomas Boudreau and Samuel Grandy Boudreau. Eleanor was the last surviving member of her immediate family, survived by in laws; many nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to her best friend, Harold Dibblee for his kindness and friendship.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11 am with Father Martin Arputham as celebrant. Reception will follow at the Ramada, 480 Riverside Drive. A Private Family Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
