Efstratios (Steve) passed away peacefully surrounded by those who loved him, just like he wanted. He is survived by his wife Anna, son John and daughter Joyce, son-in-law George and granddaughters Eleni, Annabelle and Gianna. Son of Ioannis and Kalliopi, may they rest in peace. Efstratios will be missed by siblings Maria, Haralambos, Antonis, Eleftherios, pre-deceased by Kaiti. Efstratios was born in Limnos, Greece. At the age of 18 he left the island and moved to Athens to become a tailor’s apprentice. In the winter of 1962 he met and fell in love with his beautiful wife Anna, they married in 1964 and were married for 54 years. They moved to Canada in April of 1966 where they built a life together and raised two children. As a business man he met many people, anyone who met him loved him. He was sick for decades and fought long and hard but unfortunately his will was stronger than his body. He entertained the family even at the last moments. Efstratios will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
