Edwin Stanley “Ed” Kindt
59 Years
Peacefully Tuesday January 16, 2018 at his residence with loving family at his side.
Beloved husband of Patty (Pagé) Kindt. Loving father of Michelle (Derek Morgan) and Stacey (Charles Furchner). Cherished step grandfather of Sophie and Allison. Dear son of Edmund and Doris (Eveline) Kindt predeceased. Dear brother of Judy Lavallee (husband Norm). Special uncle to Debbie and Paul and lovingly remembered by many relatives in Saskatoon and California. He was a diesel mechanic at Falconbridge for many years. He was an avid Sudbury Wolves Fan for over 40 years. He was a dedicated volunteer with Sudburnia Soccer Club and was assistant manager to the Sudbury Panhellenic Strikers. He enjoyed a coffee and socializing at the Mall with his friends. Every summer Ed travelled out West where he reconnected with his farming roots. He was devoted to his loving family.
Funeral Visitation
at the
Lougheed Funeral Home
252 Regent St at Hazel St., Sudbury
Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 2-4pm with words of remembrance at 3:30pm Saturday.
Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice or Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
