Edsel “Eddie” McKellar
It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of a husband and father the likes of which you could only dream of. Edsel (Eddie) passed away peacefully on September 21, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Shirley (Fitzgerald) for an amazing 69 years. Loving father of James (Carrol), the late Dennis (1954), Ronald (Anne), the late Elizabeth (1958), Carol (Leo) and Patrick (Laurie). Dear grandad of Roseanne (Eric), Daniel (Sandy), Ian, Alicia (Mark), Clarissa (Stephen), Kendra, Ben and Jacob. Special great grandad of Jeffrey. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Eddie will always be remembered for his love of his family and love and talent for music which has been passed to his grandchildren. He was always ready for a game of euchre or cribbage. Eddie and Shirley enjoyed years of dancing with the Gingham Swing’Em Square and Round Dance Club. Eddie retired from Wayne Canada in 1989 after 42 years of service. Special thanks to the kind and compassionate care given to him at the Southampton Care Centre.
