1922-2018
GREEN, Edna Mabel.
Passed away at Fairview Mennonite Suites, Cambridge on Wednesday,
January 24, 2018, at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late
Doug Green. Loving mother of Larry (Diane) of Cambridge, ON, Jim
(Dotty) of Toronto, ON, Ron (Kim) of Vancouver, B.C., Bonnie Green of
Campbell River, B.C., Janice McInroy (Lloyd) of Bobcaygeon, ON, Judy
Olacke (Mark) of Spring Bay, ON and David (Violet) of Merville, B.C.
Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents Eligio and Louise Ciceri and by 5 siblings.
Edna trained as a Registered Nurse and put it in practice by nursing
many family and friends throughout her life and through acts of
kindness. She enjoyed playing card and word games, later in life she
became an avid Blue Jays fan. During her family rearing years, she
also supported the family Christmas Tree farm.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge on
Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 1-2:30pm followed by a service in the
chapel of the funeral home.
Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph.
In memory of Edna, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital
Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
The family graciously declines lilies in floral arrangements.
