LEBLANC, Edmond Joseph “Eddie”
Age 63, of Beaver Bank, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 16, 2018 in the Cobequid Centre. Born in Moncton, NB, he was a son of the late Rita LeBlanc Cormier and Oscar LeBlanc. Eddie was employed with Canada Post for over 30 years, he never considered his job as work. He enjoyed his time there and never had a bad day. He always came home with a smile on his face. Eddie lived for his family, they were the whole world to him. He was a die-hard “Habs” fan who coached Sackville Minor Hockey for his boys’ teams. A new adventure in life was camping and being in the beautiful outdoors. He was always willing to lend a hand whenever help was needed. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Averill of 33 years; cherished sons, Justin (Maranda) and Joel; dear sisters, Paulette LeBlanc (Kevin), Bernice Leblanc (Mike), Diana Fournier, all of Moncton, NB; brothers-in-law, Doug Banks (Rhonda) of Montreal, QC and Cleve Banks (Sandy) of Port Hawkesbury; many nieces, nephews and extended family as well as his best friend and furry companion, Koda. Predeceased by his brother Jean-Paul LeBlanc of Moncton, NB. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 23 from 6-8 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 24 at 2 p.m. also in Atlantic Funeral Home.
