Passed peacefully with family by her side on January 5, 2018 at the age of 81. Reunited with her loving husband Jack and her son Collin. Loving mother to Rick Bigness and his wife Nancy, John Moore and his wife Rhonda and Wendy Drydak and her husband Ken. Cherished Grandma to Chris, Andy (Laurie), Jill, Greg, Kevin (Kirsten), Kristie (Richard), and Jason (Cori). Proud great-grandmother to Jack, Isla, Maya, Aaron, Makenna and Carter. Dear sister to Mary Oleksik and her husband, the late Ernie, and the late Fran Vancoughnett. Best friend to Mary-Beth. She will be missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Edith’s greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. A special thank you to each staff member at Extendicare Tecumseh for their care and compassion. Memorial visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road, East 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 12 noon until the time of Edith’s memorial service at 1:00 pm. In keeping with Edith’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
